Insulet Corp. shares rose 7.7% after hours to $302 as the company was selected to join the S&P 500, replacing SVB Financial Group following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank.
S&P Dow Jones Indices said the index change is effective prior to the opening of trading Wednesday.
Trading in SVB Financial shares were halted Friday by Nasdaq Inc. and will remain so until the company has fully satisified Nasdaq’s request for information, the stock exchange said.
