Shares of Rev Group rose after the maker of specialty vehicles and aftermarket parts raised its outlook and reported fiscal third-quarter results that were powered higher by strength in its Fire & Emergency unit.
The stock climbed 11% to $14.30. So far this year, the stock is up more than 13%.
The Brookfield, Wis., company reported a 40% jump in sales in its biggest unit – Fire & Emergency, which makes fire trucks and ambulances.
Its commercial unit, which makes municipal buses and street sweepers, also reported strong sales gains, which helped offset softness in its recreational unit, which makes RVs.
