Oil futures fell Monday as traders weighed prospects for further production cuts by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies — known together as OPEC+ — when they meet later this week.
Front-month WTI fell 0.7% last week, while January Brent edged down 3 cents, or less than 0.1%. It was the fifth straight weekly fall for both benchmarks.
